À propos de Ann Charters qui raconte si bien les Beats en tant que communauté d'écrivains, comment ils ont été absorbés et obsédés - en particulier Kerouac - pour trouver leur propre voix en écriture, comment ils se sont encouragés les uns les autres, et puis pourquoi tout cela continue d'être vivant, excitant et inspirant, il y a cet interview de 40 minutes avec Don Swain (CBS Radio, New York qui date de 1992,  mais ça reste vraiment un sacré beau tour d'horizon.
